Close to the historic center of Lima and the main attractions in Central Lima, making it easy to explore the city. The hotel offers excellent value for money, with affordable prices and basic amenities that meet the needs of travelers. The staff at this hotel are attentive to detail and provide great service, ensuring that guests feel welcomed and well taken care of. The rooms are comfortable and well-maintained, with the added bonus of a functioning air conditioning unit for those hot Lima days.
All in all, my stay at this hotel was fantastic and I couldn't find anything to improve upon.

Wonderful, classic (older) hotel in the heart of Lima - next to the Plaza de Armas. Clean, safe neighborhood, spacious rooms. The bar is the original one where the Pisco sour was thought up.

It is in a good location for visiting the Plaza de Armas. The receptionists are very friendly and helpful. WiFi is free. No problems with room. It is an old, very ordinary hotel, which did not compare favorably with luxury hotels we stayed at in prior nights, when we were on a Machu Picchu tour, but it compares very favorably on price. We did not check out its Maury Bar, where legend has it that the pisco sour was born.
Breakfast was just okay; room lighting was somewhat dim.

The pisco sour that it sells is the best I have ever tried, indeed they invented.
It looks like if Hotel Maury had a magnificent and luxury past, in fact you pay for that, even when today is quite obvious that the hotel has many details nor attented.

This hotel is in an excellent central location near the beach and historic center of the city. the rooms are clean and spacious with comfortable beds and large bathrooms supplied with towels and shampoo. Some rooms have a fridge and minibar, and you can enjoy fresh air by opening the windows. the staff were helpful and friendly, and the breakfast offered a typical Peruvian breakfast with fruit, rolls, and tea or coffee.
The noise levels can be high due to nearby musicians and busy roads outside some rooms.

The location near Plaza des Armas is excellent, just a few steps to the cathedral and other important historical buildings. The hotel has the charm of old days. My room was large and nice. The staff was friendly and helpful, but their English was poor.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel, especially for the price. The location was fantastic, just a quick walk to the main square and close to all the attractions. The staff were friendly and attentive, always willing to help. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with everything I needed, including A/C. Plus, the breakfast included was a great start to the day, even if the coffee wasn't the best.
No major complaints, everything was just fine.

Great location, close to tourist sites and attractions. Room rates are affordable and the view from the room is fine.
The staff is outdated and unhelpful. The breakfast is terrible and often cold, and the internet is unreliable.

Great location steps away from the main square and Presidential square, offering easy access to transportation. The hotel is right near the center of the city, making it possible to walk to many attractions. The hotel facilities are excellent, especially the old wood panelled bar and dining room.
There was nothing I didn't like about this hotel.

Great Pisco Sours and Central Location During New Year's Eve, we had the chance to taste the best Pisco Sours in town - they were really delicious. the hotel's central location made it easy to explore the sights nearby. the hotel had a beautiful lobby that had a cozy feel to it.
Outdated and Dirty Property Unfortunately, the hotel was outdated, with dirty walls and smelly carpets. Our room was small and uncomfortable, with no hot water.
